SALT LAKE CITY – Prior to the start of their 2023 campaign, the University of Utah softball team made it clear they had a single purpose in mind: to make the 1176-mile journey to Oklahoma City for what would be the program’s first Women’s College World Series appearance in nearly 30 years. One year after attaining that goal and picking up the first-ever Pac-12 Tournament Championship along the way, Amy Hogue’s Utes are preparing to take the first steps towards repeating those accomplishments and trying to see if they can achieve even more in 2024.
