Another player transfers from NM State – RB Mike Washington
So cool, the Utes landed RB Mike Washington, who previously played for New Mexico State. As you may know, our new OC Jason Beck came over from New Mexico state. And it’s speculated that is why QB Devon Dampier decided to also come to Utah from NM State. I wonder if more NM State players will hop over.

Had 700+ yards rushing last season for New Mexico State, so I hope he can bring that run skill over here. We need a rushing attack that can do work.

We definitely need something like that in our run game. He could provide that for us I hope.

At this point Beck is going to bring his whole offense with him from NM State.

That’s what it feels like. We already got their OC, QB and now their RB, wonder if we’ll take their offensive line and WR talent too.

I’d welcome more of their talent, as long as they are good and work together well with these guys.

Same. I would love to see more NM state players jumping ship. It seems a lot of players have already left from NM state, so maybe they are on their way to joining us.

Could be a big addition to the roster, especially since we do need backs more than ever.

This kid brings a lot to the table. I am super hyped to see him out there.

It’s clear Utah is drawing interest, and I think it’s mainly because of Whitt and the fact he is staying another season at least. I think that draws some players in.
