I found this interesting. An article from the Mercury news discusses how Utah could be the best positioned team of the Pac-12 to make it in the Big 12. As in, they have the best chance out of the Pac-12 teams that have joined. At least that’s what I got from the article. Check it out below.

They have the best team out of the Pac-12 teams that joined the Big 12. I think that’s why we get so much praise. We have the team that could potentially be the one to lead the Big 12.

I’ll tell ya, I think Utes take the Big 12 easily their first year in. It has to happen. Then Whitt can retire off in the sunset as a champ again.

The praise they’ve been given all year has been what’s leading up to this season. This season means a lot, not just to fans, but to the people still on this team who wants to bring a title or two back. This could be Whitts last season as our head coach, so we have to make it count.

Out of everything, the Utes have the talent, the coaching staff, and overall the history that makes for a good team. As well, they have been great for the past 5 years or so. Especially with back to back titles like that. Maybe we didn’t get a third in a row, but we were close. This year, we can make a comeback and win another title. I believe this team has the capability of doing that, especially in the Big 12 now more than ever.

  I’d say. They have all the pieces to be a champ again, and I think Utah will show us a champion caliber team again.

They have the best going in as a Pac-12 team. So easily they make it in as the best Pac-12 team imo. Which should translate to us dominating.

They have a top tier offense and defense, plus they have receivers and tight ends for days, so I’m not so worried about out chances next season.
