Bear Bachmeier will start at quarterback for BYU
Bachmeier will become the first true freshman QB to start a season opener for the Cougars in program history.

Hearing he’s been popular in practice. It’s going to be fun playing BYU now knowing they got a freshman leading them.

Well, that will be an easy target for us when we face BYU. Our defense is going to smoke the kid as much as they can. Put that pressure on him and watch him mess up.
