Cam’s surgeon says he’s right on or ahead of schedule for recovery
I don’t know how much we can take of this, but we are tiring of hearing if Cam will play this week or not. We’ve been holding out hope that Cam comes back in soon, but after his recent interview on the Bill Riley show, I’m confused if he will play this season or not.
Well now his surgeon is saying that he is right on or ahead of schedule in his recovery. What does that exactly mean? Is he close to being cleared?
Currently his knee seems to be holding up, and isn’t seeing fluid buildup or anything like that. So when can he go?
My guess is he won’t play this season.

His recovery time could take a full year. The article mentioned one of his injuries recovery time is usually 10-12 months. That’s just one of the injuries, there’s many other factors in play here with the other injuries, that the recovery could be unpredictable.
Cam is probably not going to be able to play at all this season.

If he is ahead of schedule, maybe he will be able to partake in a few games near the end of the season. But I think we shouldn’t put him in for just the last few games.

I hope he’s ahead of schedule, like in a week or two back ahead of schedule.

After seeing it could be 10-12 months, my heart sank. Yeah it’s all but confirmed.
This season is going to either Barnes or Johnson.

Seems Barnes is getting the chance to start again. We’ll see how he does going forward. From what I’ve seen, he’s been better than Johnson.

Yeah this 10-12 month recovery, could take longer too. All things sound good for him, but it’s probably not enough to get him back anytime soon.
I wish him the best recovery he can get and I hope he’s back to playing soon. If not, I hope he sticks around another season as redshirt or puts his hat in the ring for the NFL.

Yeah we don’t know if he can play this season. If it takes that long, and could take longer for extra rehab, who’s to say he will even be able to play at all this season. I doubt he will.
