Dalton Kincaid Named Semifinalist For John Mackey Award
It’s not only Cameron Rising being named a semifinalist to awards, as it looks like Dalton Kincaid is named a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award. Even though he is out for the remainder of the season, I still wonder if he has a chance to win.
This award is given to the best tight end in college football. So it’s possible he might lose out to a player who’s still active. But I hope he does win, would be pretty rad.

I’m not expecting him to win it, not after missing a couple games already and the last two games. So if there is another tight end out there playing his best, he could win it. But, Dalton still has a chance, because don’t these go based off of fan votes and all that?

I don’t think he’ll win sitting out the rest of the season, but would be cool if they gave it to him.

Kincaid deserves it though. He really had a great season, and to see it snubbed out too soon sucks. There’s a chance he could win being named a semifinalist, so we’ll see.

I hope he wins too, he deserves to win this award just by the numbers he put up earlier in the season. But, if they go by the stats throughout the season, he may not win it. But I hope we’re wrong about him not winning it.
