ESPN ranks Coach Whitt #9 on top 10 best coaches in college football for 2025
Coach Whitt has ranked high again, this time on the list of the best college football coaches for 2025. The top ranking coach on the list goes to Kirby Smart out of Georgia. They ranked only 10 coaches though. You can see the full list below.

I mean if this is all coaches today, than yeah, I like seeing him placed #9 out of 10. Not a bad place to sit imo.

Coach Whitt should be in the top 5 at least. I don’t agree with placing him #9. But this seems to not just be Big 12 coaches, but all of college football, so making the top 10 isn’t so bad.

If I was him, I’d gladly take the #9 spot. Though I’d put him 6th or 5th on the list.

Exactly, Whitt is highly ranked if we consider this is out of all college football coaches.

I think his ranking makes sense. Though I think I’d put him higher on the list, maybe 7th or 6th.

Should be #1 dude, I think he has done good enough to hit the #1 spot or at least the top 3.

Best for 2025, I still consider him one of the best all time. If we had to pick all time, I’d go with him in the top 5 easily.

Not bad honestly, he still made the top 10 list, that’s all that matters to me.

Doesn’t matter what he ranks at every year, he will always be considered as one of the best coaches to ever coach.
