Gunman pleads guilty for murder of Aaron Lowe, faces 15 years to life
Posted by HeintzM on March 12, 2024 at 11:55 pmIt’s still unbelievable to me that Aaron Lowe is gone, but it looks like the case on his murder is moving quite fast, so fast that the gunman who shot and killed him could be facing up to 15 years to life in prison. 15 years is not enough, so I hope it’s life. This man doesn’t deserve to make it out of jail for what he did.

I hate that he could possibly be out in 15 or less. Murderers should never have freedom after. Should be a lifetime jailable offense.

I second 15 years not being enough for him. He killed someone, and there was a ton of witnesses who saw it. No way should this guy be able to get out in 15 years.
-
What does 15 years to life means? Does it mean he will face at least 15 years and possibly longer? I never understood that.
This man should never see the light of day again. If you take a life, your life should be forever lived in a jail cell.

No one who commits murder in such a way should be allowed freedom. If you take a life, you should be forced to pay with yours for a lifetime of imprisonment.
-
Exactly, should never see the outside of a prison again. Taking a life is one of the worst things you can, I think it only right that your life sits behind bars until the day you die.
If I had it my way, murderers and rapists would be jailed in a pit with minimal food and water, a hole in the ground for a toilet and a uncomfortable cot to sleep on. That’s how I feel. If you end a life, your life should be hell in return.

Utah laws are messed up, why is it that 15 is the highest amount you can get aside from a lifetime sentence?
This guy deserves to be jailed for the rest of his life and I won’t take any other alternative.
-
Yeah I don’t get it, someone who murders others should not get a chance to come out of jail. I think once you’re kill another human being, your life should end based on theirs ending. That’s how I feel about murderers.

Plead guilty to lesser charges. I hate this man, and I hope he is stuck in a jail cell for most of his life.
-
Hope so too. This guy should never be forgiven for what he has done. He deserves life behind those bars.

I wish they’d give the guy the death penalty, but most states don’t bother with that anymore. He will probably sit in prison for 15-20 years and then get out at some point. I never want to see this man outside of a prison.
-
He executed him, that deserves a lifetime behind bars at the least. Aaron Lowe’s family were even against the death penalty for him, that’s saying a lot.
A life behind bars will be a lot of time to think about the crimes he committed in his life, including murdering an innocent man in Aaron Lowe.
-
I heard he plead not guilty originally, but I think when you’re witnessed committing such a crime, there’s no denying it.
I won’t say this mans name, he doesn’t deserve it. But I agree with everyone saying he needs to be in a cell for the rest of his life. He intended to end two lives that night.

That’s what I wish would happen. I don’t think anyone who does what he did, deserves a second chance to do anything.
