How well is Sione Vaki going to do for the Detroit Lions?
Posted by Nelson2K on August 2, 2024 at 8:00 pmSince Vaki was drafted by the Lions in the most recent draft and I can’t wait to see what he ends up doing. It’s being said he will be playing as a running back for them, so I am excited to see how well he does.
If he sticks to playing running back and not as a safety, how many yards do you think he’ll put up? How many tds do you think he can get?

I hope he becomes one of the best running backs in the league. Seeing him succeed would make me happy.

My hope is that he has as much success as he can dish out. I know he’s not perfect by any means, but the kid can go. And I think he’s going to prove the Lions offense to be even better in 2024.

Wait, I thought he was playing safety, or are they starting him as a running back?

I can’t wait to see what he can do. He’s a triple threat too, can always play in the pass game. And if needed, can play defense. But I think he will be used in combination with Jahmyr Gibbs, their leading RB right now.

I would love to see him be featured, but I don’t expect him to be out there too much. Not with the guys leading their run team right now. They have David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs leading the way. Plus you also got a few other RBs on the list. Vaki has a lot to prove in order to lead or even be featured as a backup RB.

Yeah they have a crew of talent ahead of him, but maybe he’ll get a few snaps here and there to see how well he can do.

Yeah I hope he gets a chance to show what he can do. Either it’s giving him a snap or two, they gotta get him involved somehow.

I just hope they find a way to get him involved. Maybe they will use him on special teams, maybe working with the new kick off.

Only time will tell. I’m not expecting him to start, but I think he gradually gets more involved as they see what he is capable of.

I hope he sees success with the Lions, but I’m not betting on him getting a lot of playtime out there.
