I have a feeling the men are going to lose out the rest of this season
Posted by Jimmy on February 20, 2023 at 7:53 pmThe Utes men’s team has lost their last two games, and it’s not looking good for them going forward. They have three games remaining on the season. 23-4 UCLA is next for us, and to follow that game we are facing 19-8 USC, and to end the regular season, we will be facing 15-13 Colorado.
I hate to say it, but this schedule doesn’t bode well for them and I don’t think we can win out the season. I think Colorado will be our last win of the season, if we’re lucky.

It could very well happen, but even so, they had a great season. Not the greatest, but even if they lose their last few games, they will still end up with a better record than last season if I remember correctly.

At the rate things are going, probably. I’m not expecting them to have much luck with the rest of this schedule. But if we do get a couple wins, I’ll be happy.
-
It’s starting to look like that may be the case. They are facing mostly good teams for the rest of the schedule, so it’s not going to go too good.
-
I’m starting to think that yeah we’re going to lose most of the games we have left to play.
-
There’s a real possibility of that happening. This team is hurting due to injuries and they aren’t playing that great otherwise. I could see them winning maybe one of those matchups, maybe Colorado as we have one win against them this year. Maybe we can beat them.

Not like they’re going to any Pac-12 championship. Their season is over in that regards, so win or lose, it doesn’t really matter. I think what will happen is they will get into the NIT, but probably won’t win that.

They can make the NIT, but that’s about it. And I’m okay with that, because they weren’t going to make the pac-12 tournament.

You can’t blame them, some of their key players are out. They don’t have Rollie, and Gabe Madsen is out too, and probably won’t be back for any of the upcoming games, at least that what I’m hearing.
So they’re hurting there.

Injuries, and poor play will do that. If these two guys were healthy, I can see them being more likely to win, but without them, I don’t see it.

Most likely will keep losing, but that’s okay. This season is over for the Utes in terms of Pac-12 needs, but the NIT will be a thing for them. Even so, I don’t see them having much success there either.

Even though it doesn’t look too good for the Utes the rest of this season, I think we’re better than what we’ve been saying in here. Maybe they’ll get another twin or two. But it’s okay if they don’t. Pac-12 is out of their grasp, but the NIT is there for them.
