If we don’t land a good QB in the portal, is Isaac Wilson be backup?

Isaac Wilson will likely be backup if we don’t land another QB to backup Cam. I think Wilson is a great option, but I don’t know if I’d rely on him the majority of the season. If we don’t land a transfer, could this mean that Wilson could lead us into next season?

I think Wilson will be the backup, even if we land another QB from the portal. I think Whitt and company see promise in Wilson, and I think that will see him as a backup this year and a potential started next season.

He should be made the backup now. I really think he will end up leading us next season. And he will have a lot to learn from Cam this season.

Idk about now, but I think if we have to go with him as the backup now, it’ll be okay. I think if we have to rely on him though, I don’t know what the outcome could be. Maybe we’ll win, or maybe we’d struggle. I hope it’s the former.

I think an untested QB as backup is a bad idea, but we may have to go that route. Maybe he won’t have issues if we play him. Only time will tell how good he is for us.

I actually want to see Wilson as the backup, because I think he showed he can hang. As well, I think he is the best QB right now on this team that’s able to play backup.

I still want a QB that’s tested to be out there at backup. For one, we don’t know how well Cam is going to do this year. We also don’t know if his leg is going to hold up. Anything can happen, and I think it’s best to have a tenured QB at backup at least.

Wilson is great, and I think he will be our future, but I don’t trust him to be a backup to one of the best QBs in college football today.
