Pac-12 is back, adds Boise St, Colorado St, Fresno St, and San Diego St for 2026
The Pac-12 is back, as they have added 4 new teams, those being Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State and San Diego State. This makes the Pac-12 a six team conference. They join Oregon State, and Washington State. These teams come from the Mountain West. The Mountain West drops to 7 teams for 2016.

Well, the Pac-12 are now the Pac-6. About halfway back to the conference they once were. I wonder if there’s any chance of them expanding more into 2026.

Would be something if they can land 2-4 more teams. Hitting 10 teams would be a big step.

I will always have respect for the Pac-12. I’m glad to see them finally making moves to grow again.

I’d love to see it reach 12 teams again to actually be the Pac-12 again.
I wonder if they stick to just these six teams in 2026, would they change the conference to the Pac-6?

I thought they wasted a lot of time with the college realignment stuff. I really thought they were going to end up losing the last two teams and close shop. But this is great news!

Feels a tad bit late, but better late than never I suppose. But they need to add more.

Not yet, they have a lot of work to do yet to be the Pac-12 they used to be.

Surprised to see it come back too. I half expected them to be done for and let the last two teams they had to elsewhere. I guess it’s better than not doing anything.
