Transfer Portal open from April 16th to the 30th, will we land or lose people?
The transfer portal for Utes football is open today, and so far we have lost one player to the portal, that being LB Shay O’Kelly, a freshman. So far that’s all the news we have on who is joining and leaving. I hope we get some transfers in today and the coming days. I’m sure we’ll lose more guys to the portal though too.

There’s always a chance we lose a couple players, but we should gain a decent share of talent as well. We usually always do every year anyway.

I expect a few to come and go, as it is every single season. I don’t think we can afford to lose many guys though, we need all the talent we can get.

I would be happy with a few 3-4 star transfers. I know we’re going to lose some talent, but it’s going to suck if we don’t get anything good in return.

I don’t expect to land a big player from the transfer portal, but maybe we’ll luck out.

Not big losses, but I am dreading the big players we lose. These guys are just under-utilized talent that just wants to find a place they can play.

I don’t think we’re going to see a lot of big transfers leaving, but I think we’re going to have more leaving than we get coming in.
My hope is that we land the best of the best.

Landed two players, DE Paul Fitzgerald from Utah State and WR Damien Alford from Syracuse.
So far no additional losses yet.

Very happy with this news. Just posted a topic about Fitzgerald. He should add a ton to out defense. Can’t wait!

Starting to see some good transfers. Sucks to lose some guys, but the ones we’ve lost so far haven’t been a huge part of the team.

We just lost QB Macloud Crowton to the portal as well.

Not a big loss. So far we haven’t lost a big player yet. But a lot can happen in the next 11 days or so.

We also lost Chase Kennedy (DE) to the portal.
