Utah Utes Vs Florida Gators (Aug 31st) – Who wins the season opener?
The Florida Gators will be playing against the Utes on August 31st, which is when the season officially begins. I figured I’d start this topic now to discuss the Utes chances of winning against Florida. Will the Utes win? We’re going to be at home, so that homefield advantage will help some.

It’s going to be a fight, with the Utes squeaking out a close victory. I’ll say my guess is the Utes going over 24 to 21.

I hope its a blowout just to prove the naysayers wrong about the Utes. Like 40 to 17 or something. I want them to destroy Florida!

We’re talking about the opener already? Alright. I think Florida will give us some trouble, so it’ll end up being a lot closer than you guys think. I think we could win by three or five points.

I really think the Utes will take this and the next two games to follow. I have a feeling they’re going to start out of the gate promising.

Gators are going to be a big threat, but we’ll have homefield advantage and have one of the best QBs back in the mix. I think the Utes got this one.

I disagree. I think the Gators are good, sure, but I don’t think they can stop our pass game and our defense will be at its best yet. I’m really excited for our chances here.

I’m pretty sure Utah is favored to win, and I think most people are predicting the Utes to take it. I’ll side with the majority and pick the Utes. And not just because I’m a fan, I believe they can handle Florida.
