Utes coaches are confident in our defense

I already knew our defense is legit good, but it seems the Utes coaches are in agreement as well, as they seem pretty confident in the defense going into the new season. My concern though is with our offense. It’s clear we need some more help there, especially see it mentioned we need some offensive playmakers out there to help Cam.

What do you think? Is our defense set and ready to go? What changes do we still need to make?

I am confident as well. I think you’re right that our main concern is bettering the offense. I think we have one of the best defenses in collage ball today, so we should be good there. But I can tell ya, our offense needs a little work. Additional wideouts, improving the offensive line to make sure Cam is better protected and more.

The defense imo, was never a problem. Even when we lost some key players on defense. I think we’re set there, but I agree offense needs a little work. I don’t think their offense will hurt them, but improving it some won’t hurt either.

I think Utes had the best defense for a while. Their offense is pretty decent too. But obviously could be improved some.

I’m very confident in our defense, especially how far they’ve come over the past two seasons. Each year their defense improves and last season proved they were at their best yet. And the best is to come.

  I agree 100% with you there. This defense has only improved with each passing year and I think this season we’re going to be at our best. Our offense is getting some work done, so maybe that too will match our defense.

Defense has always been one of the Utes best qualities, and it is only improving. Yeah we lost some players over the years due to transfers, but this defense for the most part, has stayed strong through it all. And I think 2023 onward is going to be good defensively for the Utes.

The defense has kept us alive for quite a while. If they can improve that offense even more, than I think we will have a team that’s strong on all sides.

I’m confident in this defense as well, it’s one of the best in college ball today.
