What do you think of Brandon Rose as the backup to Cameron Rising?
It’s being said that Brandon Rose and Nate Johnson will be taking the majority of reps this spring, and it is looking like the Utes are trying to decide on the QB2 and QB3 of the team. Who will it be to take the backup position for Cam Rising? Will it be Brandon Rose or Nate Johnson? Or another QB on this team?

It could go either way. I think Nate Johnson will go to the #2 spot, while Rose might land #3, but we’ll see. These two will have to compete for the position. I hear people really like Rose though, so it can go either way.

I think it’ll be Barnes at #2, and Rose at #3 and so on.

Either or, doesn’t really matter to me as long as they’re decent enough qbs. Cam will run the show, and as long as he’s healthy all the way through the season, tournaments, etc, we’ll be fine. But if I had to pick, I can’t. I need to see both of them play more before I can decide.

I couldn’t tell ya my friend. I hear Brandon Rose is a promising new talent, so he could land that backup job. It’s all up for grabs, may the best man win. 🙂

Should be a worthy enough backup. Of course he has competition, but that’s the beauty in it all, it can work.

I like him enough as the main backup. Hear he has the talent to be a starter, so could he be the next starter? You never know.

Yeah, makes you wonder who will take over for Cam when he jumps ship to the NFL. Hope we get a worthy replacement.

It could go anyway at this point. I know Rose is a potential option, but I think Nate Johnson is up there. But you also have to consider Mack Howard, Bryson Barnes, and Luke Bottari. Anything can happen from now to start of the season.

I think it’ll be Barnes staying as the backup, with Rose maybe being the 3rd backup. But, they will compete before the season, so we’ll see how that goes.

I saw some footage of his skills and he is worthy of being the backup imo. But only time will tell if they will make him the backup or not. It could to go any of the available backups.

I think he would be a sufficient backup. But I’m sure we could do better.

I’m sure we’ll get to see these guys compete for the second spot. Could be Rose, or Barnes or someone else.

I dont care as long as Cameron Rising is leading the team. I’m sure we’ll figure out a worthy backup from this crew.

Don’t care who they have as backup as long as they are good enough to be the backuo to rising.

As long as the backup does his job, it doesn’t matter to me either.

As long as he does a good job as backup for Cam, it’ll all work out.

I think he can be a worthy backup, but he will have competition for that spot.
