What happens if Cam and Whitt for sure leave, what will the atmosphere be like?
We all know it’s coming sooner rather than later, as Cam only has one year of eligibility here if he wants it, and coach Whittingham has already announced he will retire soon. Now, what if this is both of their final seasons in Utah. What would the picture be like next season with a fresh coach in room with Morgan Scalley waiting to take over. And will Wilson be our starter? Or could we start next season with a QB competition to find a new starter?

Well if they do leave after this season. I think it will be an exciting time, a time for regrowth and maybe trying new things. I think once Whitt is gone, this team will try to come up with some changes going forward. I think we’ll see a change in how Whitt did things.

I think the atmosphere will feel anew, as if a fresh new era in Utah. I’m excited to see what this new era brings. How long will Scalley be head coach? Will he succeed as our head coach? There’s a lot going into our future I am concerned about, but also very excited about.

We have to accept that reality soon anyway. I kind of expect it to happen after this season. I don’t see Cam sticking around and I think Whitt will call it when Cam leaves.
I think the future is interesting, in that it’s fresh and new. For the first time since 2005 we’ll have a new head coach. Not many teams can say they’ve had a coach around this long. I’m proud to say it’s been a great 19+ years.

I think it’ll feel like something new. idk how to put it. Seeing as how Whitt has been our head coach for so long, it’s going to take some time to get used to someone else coaching.

2005 was the year Whitt became our coach, so it makes sense that it’s going to be different when he is gone. It’s nearing 20 years he’s been our coach, it makes sense it will feel weird.

I think it’ll fee fresh, like a new team. But I will worry about how well we’ll do without Whitt. I think we’ll be fine without Cam for the most part. Not expecting him to come back anyway.

I think 2025 is the year Whitt leaves, resulting in Cam deciding to peace out too.

Well if Whitt leaves, that means Cam has left. I think Whitt is waiting until Cam fully decides to leave before he makes his call to retire.

Yeah Whitt is going to call it as soon as Cam decides to call it. That seems like the inevitable at this point. I think Whitt wants to wait until Cam is fully ready to leave, and will go at the same time. That or Cam does take 1 more year of eligibility and we see Whitt stick by for that year.

Idk, it’ll feel like a new story, or a new chapter in the Utes storied history. Coach Whittingham may have been here nearing 20 years, he is just a potion of this teams history. We are heading into a future I am unsure of, but I am very excited about.
