Which bowl games could Utah go to in first year of Big 12?
I didn’t know this, but I guess the Utes and any of the other Pac-12 teams that left for the Big 12, will still be put into Pac-12 bowl games for the next two years. The reason is due to the contracts that were already agreed upon for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. So that means 2024 and 2025 we will still be in the running as a Pac-12 contender. At least that’s what I get from this news. Check it out below.

So wait, the Utes will only be representing the Pac-12 in any bowl games they do play? That’s kinda weird. Here are the possible bowl games the Utes can land this year:
- Alamo Bowl (Pac-12 vs. Big 12).
- Holiday Bowl (Pac-12 vs. ACC).
- Las Vegas Bowl (Pac-12 vs. SEC).
- Sun Bowl (Pac-12 vs. ACC).
- LA Bowl (Pac-12 vs. Mountain West).
- Independence Bowl (Pac-12 vs. Army).
So what does that mean if they have the best record in the Big 12? Will they face another Big 12 team in the Alamo Bowl?

Would be wild if they get the Alamo Bowl and represent both the Pac-12 and the Big 12. What if we end up facing another past Pac-12 opponent but in the Alamo Bowl?

I heard something about this, but didn’t think anything of it. I just hope this doesn’t change our chances to play in the CFP.

Oh wow I didn’t know any of this. I suspected we’d be representing the Big 12 all the way, but I guess not for the first two seasons. Thankfully, it just sounds like the bowl games.

I don’t care, as long as we get into one and win it. But I am more interested in us taking the Big 12 and CFP championship.

Kind of sucks that we can’t represent the Big 12 our first two years in. But I guess rules are rules. It’s only two seasons. It’s not like they any less important than other bowl games.

I’ll just be happy if we make a bowl game. I don’t care if we’re representing the Big 12 or the Pac-12.

Weird that we won’t be representing the Big 12 our first two years in, but hey, in the end, does it matter? Because if we make it into one of these bowl games, it’s still good for us right?

As long as we get a good bowl game, I don’t care. Doesn’t matter to me if we’re Pac-12, Big 12 or anything else.
