Whittingham is okay to play Brandon Rose if needed

Even saying he feels more comfortable with the option, so could Rose end up playing? Or will he stick with Bryson Barnes to lead us into the Las Vegas Bowl?

I think he’s set on Barnes playing though. It wouldn’t feel right to put Rose in when it’s kind of been confirmed that Barnes was sticking around just to play. So idk, if Barnes can’t play, than obviously put Rose in, but why after the run Barnes has had?

  Because this game doesn’t matter all that much. If anything they could be using this game to give some of the younger talent time to play and experience the game. A developmental game if anything.

    Yeah this game means nothing aside from some bragging rights and maybe a bowl title to add to the trophy case.
    
    I think it would be better to play Barnes, but I hope they put in Rose a few times too. Maybe they could even do first half for Barnes and Rose could come in for the second half. I could see that happening.

I don’t think it will happen, but I like to see we have options if Barnes can’t go. It’s good to have options.

Aren’t we set on having Barnes start? I mean if they want to put Rose out there for a few plays, I wouldn’t be opposed to that.

I’d take Rose over Barnes personally, but I think Barnes will start and play the majority of snaps. But I do like the idea of seeing him in for a few plays.

I kind of want to see him play a few snaps during the Las Vegas Bowl. I don’t see them playing Barnes 100% of the time, as I think Whittingham is going to get some people to play who haven’t all year.

I wouldn’t be opposed to him playing. I’d be cool with seeing them split snaps out there.
