Why don’t we have woman’s football yet?

I would like to see it happen. More football is always a plus in my book. The only thing I can think of as to why we don’t have it, is because women might not be that interested in playing maybe? I mean, are women that interested in actually playing football? I’m sure there are some women who want to play, but I just don’t see the numbers to make enough teams. If women shown an interest in starting their own leagues, than maybe, but I don’t recall many times when women wanted to play football.

I knew some girls who joined our high school team, but it was like 1 or 2 max. But, I would welcome it if more women wanted to and actually started their own league. But I don’t see there being enough interest in women wanting to do it.

Actually the cool thing is, is that there is already a female NFL style football league for women in the United States of good ol America. It’s called the Women’s National Football Conference or WFNC for short. I did a quick search and found it. It started in 2019, and has 14 teams.

That’s a lot considering the XFL only has 8 teams if I remember correctly. The cool thing about this league is that new teams can join it, and there’s no fee for doing so. At least thats what I found on their wikipedia page.

But, another google search yields other results for other leagues around the US. Like the United States Women’s Football League or USWFL for short.

So, there are leagues with women in them, it just isn’t as publicized as men’s football. Which sucks, but maybe one day some of these leagues will be more popular to the point they reach the NFL’s popularity.

There are women’s leagues, they’re just not as well known as the NFL and other men’s leagues. It’s also relatively new leagues for the most part. I would love to see some of these leagues become popular. But I don’t think anything will touch the NFL.

Maybe the NFL can start their own women’s league. At least then it would get more eyes on it. And they could draft from the other leagues.

Yeah it already exists. The issue is that it’s not as popular as the NFL and other leagues. But maybe we’ll start to see a rise in popularity. It would help if these leagues were featured on national television.

Sadly it’s not as popular. But I wish it was, because I would be into watching more football. I’d also want to see how good they are. I bet there are some talents that can rival some of the best in the NFL even.

Looks like we have many of them already. I think it’d be popular if it had the marketing around it, but I think it’s not as popular because they don’t have the backing the NFL and other male run sports do currently. Maybe one day that will change and women sports will be more represented on tv and around the world.
