Will the Utes make the NIT if they can’t make the NCAA tournament?
If the Utes continue to lose, we could end up in the NIT tournament. I am already accepting of the idea, because I don’t think we can make the NCAA tournament.
Are you okay with them makin the NIT at the least?

Very likely will, considering most teams with a decent record do. They won’t make the NCAA playoffs, but could make the NIT.

It’d be hard to miss the NIT at this point. Sucks we probably won’t make the NCAA tourney, but that’s to be expected with our win/loss record.
Still, it’s something and I can’t complain.

They’re shoe ins to make the NIT. And I am hoping they do, because at the rate they’re going, they won’t make the NCCA championships.

It would be hard for them not to make it. I think it’ll end up being our only chance this season. We def aint making the NCAA tournament or anything else.

Of course, sucks that we can’t make it to the big game, but I’ll take whatever I can get.

It’s better than not making a tournament or championship game.

I think they’re already a lock for the NIT. Even if they lose more games, they should still qualify.

Yeah they would qualify if the season ended now, and likely would even if they lost the rest of their games. I don’t think we’ll lose all of our games going forward, but I don’t expect us to win most of them. I hope I’m wrong though.
